I took on this artistic project and decided to HAND-PAINT each and every cd AND album cover. The album covers are 100% recycled cardboard, cuz we're all about going green. Your five dollars gets you an individual and unique copy of The Responsive Chord, one of only 50 copies hand-made. Aside from my own hard work, you'll get something to bang during your weed sessions and summer road trips. Moody, eclectic, and noisy are only a few words to describe the album. For every pre-order, there will be an EXTRA one-of-a-kind piece of art by myself included just because you're awesome.
I featured an animal called a Tapir on the artwork. No, it's not some elephant/cow hybrid. The Tapir is a rare and endangered animal in Latin American rainforests that is elusive as it is strange, much like K.'s music. It is a water-loving animal that lives in many myths and legends of indigenous peoples of the area and is getting more and more rare in the wild. I've always loved it because it is not well-known but is ancient in evolutionary terms and is related to the rhinoceros and help germinate seeds that produce the great trees of the rainforest. Just in case you were wondering... haha.
